Following an individualized assessment and discussion with you & your team, I will develop a holistic plan of powerful awareness training and behavioral modifications to begin guiding you toward recovery.
I will assist you in honoring your emotions while emphasizing accountability and implementing healthy living modifications for recovery. I focus on strengths and never dwell on perceived weaknesses. I will develop specific strategies alongside your team which will assist you in managing triggers and regulating your nervous system. I will educate you on why we nourish the gut, brain, and body. I do not prescribe meal plans, but I do provide compassionate meal support. I am an adjunct member of the medical treatment team. I do not make medical diagnoses or prescribe medications.
Implementing a holistic coaching plan, I combine science-based techniques to assist you in reconnecting your mind with your body’s natural cues, shifting your mindset, and understanding the
connection between the mind, body, and soul. The key to building new habits and changing the brain is your belief.
They are rooted in genetic predisposition, triggered by internal or external environmental stressors, and fueled by a cascade of negative health issues. Positive or negative thoughts and emotions reinforce neural pathways in your brain. Only you have the power to alter these connections. Together we can retrain your thinking and rewire your brain.
Raising your subconscious awareness focuses on turning off your default network for negative thoughts, recognizing triggers for negative behaviors, and relearning the body’s signals for hunger, thirst, rest, movement, & emotional regulation. I will coach you to conscious eating and
purposeful living.
Conscious change requires a shift in mindset from survival of the eating disorder to the freedom of recovery. You will need to develop your “why’s” for recovery and begin building the environment that allows you to manifest healing. Visualization of life in recovery should be practiced regularly.
Your brain, body, and soul depend on nutrients for healing. I can educate and empower you to understand the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and spiritual health.
I specialize in the recovery care of adolescent and young adult females.
I work with individuals diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating, orthorexia, ARFID and OSFED. I also work with undiagnosed individuals struggling with poor body image and disordered eating behaviors. All individuals must currently work with a therapist or registered dietitian in order to be eligible for coaching.
Yes! I have virtual clients all over the world. I have worked with clients in England, Germany, and India to name a few! International clients are also required to have a therapist or registered dietitian as part of their treatment team in order to be eligible for coaching.
I will work in conjunction with licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and registered dietitians utilizing their treatment guidelines and meal plans. I will bridge the gap between your daily living challenges and their traditional schedules.
Recovery is a long-term commitment that is nonlinear and unique to each individual.
Recovery encompasses physical restoration, emotional and behavioral regulation, and spiritual peace. It is the acceptance of self and recognition that although environmental stressors will continue, you are no longer willing to compromise your mental or physical health in an effort to cope or meet social demands.
